Do you give out RAW or unedited photos?
The simple answer, no. The reason for this is I believe when you hire me or any photographer for that matter, you’re hiring me for my artistic skill and technique. This applies not only to how I take my photographs but how I edit them as well. I take a lot of time and effort on every single photo I send to my clients and the edits are a reflection of my art. A chef wouldn’t send a meal out half-cooked so I don’t send out my work half complete.
What should I wear?
The dreadful planning of the outfits. We know that everyone stresses about this, but it doesn’t need to be stressful.
I send all clients an Outfit Guide before the shoot to give them plenty of inspiration. My general rule of thumb though is to stick to warm neutrals and earth tones! I always recommend coordinating over matching. Also, always consider your environment or location choice when planning your outfit too. I’m here to help you every step of the way. I love to be as hands on as possible with outfit planning. Do not hesitate to reach out if you need my opinion or advice on what would look best.
When should we expect our photos?
My turnaround time varies depending on the busyness of the season but average is 4-6 weeks for couples and family sessions, and about 8-10 weeks for Weddings. I also always send a sneak peek out 24-48 hours after your session! :)
What if we’re awkward??
Ok literally almost everyone says or thinks this. I can tell you that youre probably not as awkward as you think you are! However, I always give my clients plenty of direction when they’re in front of the camera so you never have to worry about not knowing what to do with your hands lol. I also always do a FaceTime/Zoom call or try to meet up with you guys before your session to get to know you better. This helps me get a better feel for your vibe and helps you guys feel more comfortable with me before your session :)
Can you help us pick a location?
Of course! I am here to help. I always have a recommend list of my go to locations in the Sacramento Area, but we’re also down to travel! You want engagement photos at the coffee shop you met at? You want anniversary photos the same place you got engaged? Let’s do it! We’re here to make your vision come to life.
